About Me
Hey! This is me. Born in 1966, back in the good ol” days! although everyone thinks of their childhood years as the best of times, mine definitely set the tone for the things I still love about life & the stuff I feel is important. Like a love of solitude, on a beach with a book, (or anywhere with a book if truth be known) Enid Blyton was my first love and every so often I happily read a childs book of hers and feel the happiness I did back then, meeting my childhood pals from the Enchanted Wood! or The Famous Five!
The sea through rain and shine! has always been a huge pull for me, weekly visits to the many Norfolk beaches as a child with my Nan & Gramps for picnics and frolics, with the lure of slot machines to get us off the sandy shore as the sun went down or as our teeth chattered depending on the time of year!
My favourite place outside of this country is a feast for every one of my senses, its Marrakech, no rhyme nor reason why I feel such an attachment to this magical city other than it feels like home. Which is weird but I may have had connections in a previous life! who knows? I take a trip every year to this city and it has no beach in sight but I love it!
